Our Expectations of Clients
Experience has proven that unless the client is willing to take ownership of the improvement process, significant long-term, positive results are unlikely to occur. Management must sustain positive pressure and actively engage with employees in finding solutions. In order to have a successful implementation of a project, the following are expectations Childress & Associates has of our clients:
- Someone at a top management level must champion the improvement effort in a proactive manner and be accountable for its success.
- Management must have a sincere desire to develop a healthy partnership between themselves and employees.
- A cooperative problem-solving mentality is expected and required from all staff (management and employees).
- Everyone is expected to focus on providing real value to the customer.
- Client management will be data and fact-driven.
- Management and improvement efforts will focus on work processes.
- Complete collaboration is needed from within the entire organization.
- Even though the drive is for perfection, mistakes are tolerated.
- Anyone who is having difficulty with the improvement process will be "coached". Those who impede the effort or "victimize" others will be held accountable.
- Client management will meet with consultants on at least a monthly basis to assess progress.
