7 Step Process
7 Step Process Overview
Applying our 7-Step Process, employees and management combine the talents, knowledge and experience of the "experts" within each department to define and improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality and service. Department members participate in an objective, fact-based, solutions-oriented process to identify problem areas, define corrective actions and implement a "who, what, when" action plan. Management and employees participate in the application of problem-solving skills through a "Plan, Do, Review" process that measures progress and holds individuals accountable for both work performance and behavior.
First, we create a change road map, which outlines the reasons for change, designs the change program, and sets forth its vision. Next, we help clients develop a leadership model, assign teams and plan communications. Together we set up processes for tracking the progress of initiatives. Last, we assess the ongoing business impact of change programs with metrics and scorecards.
Our process yields swifter, more dramatic results than those people have come to expect from improvement efforts. That's because all activities are directly linked to a strong foundation, developed through the HPMS. We coach employees and management through several iterations of our process to define and implement improvements. Then we hand off our management system to sustain high performance. While we're available to provide periodic audits and/or consulting support for new efforts, we leave our clients with the ability to carry on the process with the "internal consultants" that have been developed at all levels of the organization.
By facilitating an ongoing internal focus on adding value and eliminating waste, we fulfill our mission to help create a new and better reality for all members of an organization, and those whom they serve.
